The Impact of Field Practical Education on Improving the Level of Self-Efficacy in Teaching Islamic Education and Arabic Language among Female Class Teacher Students at Jerash University
Abstract
This study aimed to show the effect of field practical education on the level of self-efficacy in teaching Islamic education and Arabic language among female class teacher students at Jerash University. The study sample consisted of (35) female students enrolled in field practical education in the first semester of the academic year (2021/2022).The researchers used the scale of self-efficacy beliefs in teaching Islamic education and the Arabic language, which consisted of (21) items and were divided into two areas:Personal self-efficacy in teaching Islamic education and Arabic language, and anticipating the outcomes of teaching Islamic education and Arabic language.The arithmetic means and standard deviations of the students' scores were found in the two applications, the pre and post applications of the scale, and the significance of the differences between the means in the two applications was tested with the (t) test.The results showed that there is a statistically significant effect at the level (α=05.0) of the subject of practical education in improving self-efficacy in teaching Islamic education and the Arabic language related to each of the field of personal self-efficacy in teaching Islamic education and Arabic language.And the field of anticipating the outcomes of teaching Islamic education and Arabic language among female students who studied these two subjects,The study recommended the use of modern and new methods in the training process, based on active interaction, and taking into account recent technological developments.
