Using the Case Method in Teaching a Foreign Language

The article under discussion depicts using the case method in teaching a foreignlanguage, particularly the English language. The author of the article consider that the casemethod allows to activate theoretical knowledge and practical experience of students, to developthe ability to express thoughts, ideas, suggestions, to see an alternative point of view and arguetheir own, to show and improve analytical and evaluation skills, readiness to work in a team,contributes to the understanding of the ambiguity of solving problems in real life.
