Impact of Digital Transactions among Salaried Employees in Kerala during Pandemic

Abstract

Banking sector plays a vital role in the Indian economy. The emergence of Covid-19 pandemic and the requirement for maintaining social distance have made an impact on usage of digital banking services when we compare to the pre covid-19 scenario. This is because of the fear of going outside due to the wide spread of covid-19 virus. The main aim of the study is to analyze the impact of Covid-19 on digital transactions among salaried employees. For this study we have selected the salaried employees who uses different banking applications to do their financial transactions. The area selected for the study is in and around major places in Kerala like Ernakulum, Alappuzha, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Wayanad.
