Study on the Role of Digital Payment Wallet in Times of COVID Pandemic

Abstract

The impact of Covid-19 pandemic has effected major sectors of the Indian economy. And the use of digital transactions were encouraged by government during covid-19 lockdown days. The digital payment applications like Google pay, Phone Pe, Paytm and amazon pay enables the users to make no contact payments. Many people also felt that the use of these application was more comfortable and also it enable to create a positive impact towards creating India into a complete digital economy. The study focus on the impact of digital payment on the users during the covid-19 pandemic and to identify the most accepted payment wallet among the few consider. This study also focused in the customer satisfaction and problems faced on using the digital payment application during pandemic. The sample for the study is in Kerala.
