Teaching strategy is dependent on the teacher's ability to use any given approach or model in order to achieve his or her objectives. The descriptive technique of research was utilized in this study to determine the association between the teaching practices of Araling Panlipunan or Social Studies teachers and the academic performance of the students in their classes. When attempting to determine the relationship between the kids' performance in Araling Panlipunan and their perceptions of the teachers' approaches to teaching the subject, the Kendall's Tau Coefficient of Correlation was used. Except for one teacher who rarely demonstrated mastery of the lessons, rarely developed lessons logically, rarely asked relevant questions, rarely kept track of pupils' behavior, rarely used cooperative learning, and rarely used differentiated instruction, all of the teachers admitted that they have always done the various practices in question. After completing Araling Panlipunan or Social Studies, the final grades of the students range from reasonably excellent to outstanding, with an average performance of very satisfactory (mean=86.13). It is critical to stress that, despite this, the academic performance of students must be given top attention, and a variety of innovative ideas and methods of instruction must be implemented
