Abstract

The modern and contemporary history of Iraq witnessed the emergence of many political, intellectual, economic and social personalities, who contributed in one way or another to crystallizing and formulating events, or expressing those events in intellectual forms in the light of their intellectual outcomes and on the way of their role in the course of the events they experienced, which qualified them to have An important and distinct role in these events, especially since the emergence of some of them in light of their affiliation to a certain political party and a social or literary interface, which gave him the need for programmed work and planning for what should be in light of the changes that were surrounding him at the political and class level in which society or the state was experiencing As an authority or political system that operates according to the ideology in which it believes. Among those personalities is the figure of Shamran al-Yasiri, who was known as (Abu Kata’) due to the role he played at the intellectual level in light of his reformist and intellectual orientations, an attempt to lay the foundations for social, political and economic reform in Iraq in the period preceding the revolution of July 14, 1958 and what Then the matter that will be talked about in this research in terms of shedding light on his personal biography as well as his social and intellectual composition to know the personal structure of that personality, which later contributed to the formation of all his intellectual and political orientations.
