Irrespective of the organisation type and leadership style prevalent in that respective organisation, employees are expected to always work with highest order of motivation in order to achieve the goals set by those organisational structures throughout the world. Honestly speaking, the 21st century was swamped with rampant, subtle and nerve-racking leadership failures. Moral and ethical deficiencies were widespread in many compelling, dynamic and seemingly transformational leaders that had risen to importance in both the public and private sectors. Consequently, leadership and management theorists began to give value to presence of ethics and morality in ideal leaders, and a whole new range of values based leadership (VBL) theories emerged. VBL behaviours are styles that have an ethical, consistently genuine and principled facet attached to the same.
